Carol

Carol Abella

The director of Enhance NT, Carol Abella, is a Registered Migration Agent (MARN 2014515) and Qualified Education Agent Counsellor based in Darwin, NT, bringing decades of experience across Australian immigration, education pathways, and international mobility. The team of advisors at Enhance NT are professionals with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Australia’s visa and integrity system and process.

Carol and her team of visa consultants have all previously held senior case officer positions at the Australian Embassy posts in Asia and the Middle East. As a result, our clients can rest assured that their cases will be handled by a dedicated specialist with expertise, training and understanding of Australia’s complex visa minefield.

Ross Quisao

Offshore Independent Visa Consultant

Ross worked with RMA Carol Abella at the Australian Embassy in Manila. He held various roles as Compliance Assistant, Acting Client Service Manager and Senior Case Officer for Family Visa at the Australian Embassy in Manila from 29 August 2006 10 February 2010.

Ross moved to the United Arab Emirates in February 2010 to work at the Australian Consulate General in Dubai. He led a team of Visa Officers and Administrative Officers to deliver the Temporary Entry and Refugee & Humanitarian visa programs for citizens of UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Afghanistan and residents of Gulf countries who come from over a hundred different countries. Ross also served as the acting SDP Liaison Officer and conducted training sessions for VFS GlobalDubai officers and staff. As Case Officer, he made significant contributions to the efficient allocation and assessment of the Family and Other Family Visa applications.

Ross ceased his employment with the ConsulateGeneral on 30 April 2020 to return to the
Philippines.

Since joining Enhance NT in February 2022, Ross has tirelessly worked with Carol, individual and employer clients in securing successful outcomes for skills assessments (VETASSESS, TRA,
Engineers Australia, ANMAC, etc), labour agreements (NT DAMA), Temporary and Permanent Visa applications (e.g. Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186), Skilled Nominated visa
(subclass 190), Temporary Skills Shortage visa/Skills in Demand (subclass 482), Training visa (subclass 407), Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) visa (subclass 400), Temporary Activity visa (subclass 408), Visitor visa (subclass 600), Student visa (subclass 500) and Partner visa (subclass 801) and Citizenship by Conferral applications.

Ross combines his rich experience as a delegated Australian visa decision maker with his excellent skills in navigating and interpreting the electronic database of migration and citizenship legislation and policy documents (Legend) to provide reliable, uptodate and timely immigration assistance.

Clodette Charvet

Offshore Independent Visa Consultant

Clodette worked for the Department of Home Affairs, mainly in Manila and Dubai. She also had short assignments in Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Jakarta. RMA Carol Abella, Ross Quisao, and herself worked together at the Australian Embassy in Manila before moving to the United Arab Emirates in January 2009, where she worked for the Australian Consulate General in Dubai for 11 years.

Her excellent research and analysis skills came from the training she got from the department and from helping people from more than 100 different countries apply for temporary and permanent visas. She gave information about visas on behalf of the department and was part of the team that rolled out biometrics in the GCC.

Anna Vida Padua

Onshore Independent Visa Consultant

Anna Vida, a Qualified Education Agent Counsellor (QEAC) – brings more than a decade of Australian government experience to her role at Enhance NT. Before moving to Darwin, she worked at the Australian Embassy in the Philippines in Consular, Corporate Services and Home Affairs, assisting Australians in emergencies, managing sensitive cases, and applying complex legislation and policy in real time.

At Enhance NT, Anna interviews prospective international students, assesses their study and visa plans, explains course and pathway options, and supports them through the application process in close coordination with partner schools and families. She also helps promote education providers
and local businesses across the Northern Territory.

Based in Darwin, Anna is also one of the faces and voices of Enhance NT’s media presence — regularly hosting The Visa Section podcast and social media reels, sharing visa stories, student journeys and insights into life and opportunities in the NT.

Eden Anyayahan

Executive Assistant

Eden has been the Executive Assistant at Enhance NT for three years, working closely with Director and Migration Agent, Carol, and the visa consultants to support clients through each stage of their migration journey. She manages confidential correspondence and case documents, prepares professional reports and communications, and coordinates meetings and follow-ups with clients, employers and partner organisations.

Behind the scenes, Eden keeps the office running smoothly. She maintains administrative processes and handles invoices, expenses, payroll and basic bookkeeping. Eden also leads social media management and content creation for Enhance NT.

Known for her reliability, attention to detail and approachable manner, Eden is a steady support for Carol, the visa consultants and the wider Enhance NT team. Her work allows the consultants to focus on complex migration matters, confident that the operational side of the practice is in safe hands.

Jairus Lansang

Jairus is currently the IT Training and Data Support Specialist for Enhance NT. Before moving to Australia, he worked as an E-banking Officer for one of the Philippines’ major banks. After his stint with the corporation, he worked as a Business Analyst Consultant, mainly dealing with government projects. Finally, he studied for his masters in New Zealand and moved to Australia shortly after.
